Apostille Requirement Checker
Answers two questions for a United States federal document: whether the destination is a party to the 1961 Hague Apostille Convention, and therefore whether the document is authenticated by apostille or by consular legalization. It also names the competent authority, which for a federal document is always the U.S. Department of State and never a state Secretary of State — the single most common and most expensive mistake in this process.
