Lawful permanent resident

Also called LPR · green card holder

Definition

A non-citizen authorized to live permanently in the United States.

Context

Relevant because Channeler eligibility is restricted to United States citizens and lawful permanent residents. A person who lived in the United States on a temporary visa cannot use a Channeler and must submit directly.
